Once we have completed the translation, we will send you an electronic version via email for your approval. This is to ensure that you are happy with the personal details which appear on the translation before we issue it. We ask that you read the translation carefully, paying particular attention to names and dates, especially where these are handwritten on the original document. If you have any comments regarding the translation, please let us know.
If there is an error in the spelling of your name then we will of course do our utmost to clear this up. Please do provide the correct spelling of the relevant names and we can then correct this, or, if there is an error on the original certificate we will be happy to mark this as [sic] and provide correct information on our declaration if appropriate.
In some cases, particularly when translating from a language that uses a different alphabet, such as Arabic or Russian, the names in the translation may not correspond to the client’s spelling of the names in English. This is because names are transliterated and therefore spelling variations can occur. For example, Mohammed can be spelt in numerous ways. To avoid this problem, we ask clients to provide the full preferred spellings of any names that appear on such certificates in advance.
Once we have your approval, we will issue and the translation and have it sent out as soon as possible.
If you have a certificate for translation, please email us at transaction@transaction.co.uk to request a quote.
